Autonomous gas detectors WG/Fx

WG/Fx autonomous detectors are designed to detect the presence of dangerous concentrations of explosive, toxic gases or vapors, or oxygen in the air in industrial, enclosed spaces. They have a replaceable sensor module with three alarm thresholds (set during production).

WG/Fx detectors are of standard design and cannot be used in hazardous locations (according to ATEX Directive).

Scope of application

  • closed garages and underground parking lots – ventilation control
  • boiler rooms with furnaces fuelled by solid, liquid or gas fuels
  • rooms with cooling equipment, air-conditioning or heat pumps
  • loading zones for trucks
  • rooms at risk of excess oxygen (oxygen therapy, HFNO)

Features

  • one-piece design – sensor, control system, silent siren, LED indicator light, contact outputs, 12 V DC alarm outputs, power supply – all in one housing;
  • standard 230 V AC power supply; 24 V DC power supply option available;
  • replaceable, intelligent gas sensor;
  • 3 alarm thresholds set at the production stage;
  • built-in event history (analysis available from the manufacturer), indication of the recommended calibration period expiration; built-in test procedure after power-up;
  • possibility of testing from the outside (without unscrewing the detector cover);
  • thermal compensation system (can be used in variable environmental conditions);
  • easy gas penetration through the sensor cover = relatively short detector response time;
  • built-in optical signaling (multi-color LED lamp);
  • 3 separate NO contact outputs (including: OUT3 with NO or NC configuration option; as FAULT or as an output assigned to threshold A3 or A2 as a second set of contacts – selection via function switch);
  • removable terminals with the possibility of mounting single- and multi-wire conductors (cable – without crimping sleeves);
  • built-in audible signal (activated in state A1 or A2 or deactivated – selection with a function switch);
  • 12 V DC/100 mA alarm output for connecting an external alarm (e.g., SL-32);
  • splash-proof IP44 gas sensor cover (in the recommended mounting position);
  • can be equipped with a mechanical cover made of AR-1 profiled pipes (installation in areas exposed to mechanical damage, e.g., warehouses, wholesale stores, parking lots);
