Concentration measurement and detection devices for toxic and combustible gases (also oxygen and refrigerants) with splash-proof construction and RS-485 bus connectivity
Digital detector type DG/M is designed for continuous monitoring of the concentration of specified gas on the premises monitored by Digital Gas Detection System. When the concentration exceeds a preset threshold, the detector produces a signal in the system via RS-485 network and switches on built-in LEDs.
Detector can be equipped with a semiconductor, electrochemical, catalytic or Infra-Red sensor.
Device can be retrofitted at any time with a contact output module MR2 for local control, or an alphanumeric display ML2 showing the concentration value, unit, calibration medium, or detector status.
Detector has a removable module with the intelligent sensor, which facilitates maintenance and lowers operating costs. Detector DG/M cannot be used in hazardous locations.

- large spaces at risk of toxic or explosive gas emissions.
Features
- communication, control, and data transmission via an RS-485 port, in accordance with the MODBUS RTU protocol;
- 3 alarm thresholds and a measurement mode (for catalytic, electrochemical, and optical sensors only);
- built-in control microprocessor = reliability, operational stability, thermal compensation circuit, alarm history;
- semi-automatic addressing in a digital network (without opening the housing);
- visual indication: multicolor LED;
- removable screwless terminals;
- sensors in replaceable, intelligent modules;
- relatively short gas penetration time through the sensor housing = short detector response time;
- splash-proof housing made of high-impact ABS (IP44), 2 cable glands – easy connection of additional detectors (in-line);
- optionally, at any time, can be equipped with one of the following modules:
- configuration of detector settings using the dedicated configuration software „DETnet View”;
- all detectors are calibrated in GAZEX Calibration Laboratory operating in accordance with the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard (PCA accreditation no. AP150).
