Auxiliary accessories DEX-G
ATEX compliant DEX/F, DEX/A or DEX/P detector adaptation for operation in dust explosive areas
DEX-G detectors are designed to detect the presence of dangerous concentrations of gases or vapors of explosive liquids, toxic liquids or oxygen in the air in confined spaces.
In the DEX/F-G (for detectors type DEX/F) or DEX/A-G (for detectors type DEX/A) version, they signal the exceeding of two alarm thresholds (A1, A2) set in an interchangeable sensor module (thresholds set at the production stage). They are designed to work with MD-1, MD-2, MD-4 type alarm modules only.
Detectors in the DEX/P-G (for detectors type DEX/P) version are designed to measure the concentration of gases or vapors of explosive liquids, toxic liquids or oxygen in the air in enclosed spaces. They have an analog current output in the 4-20mA standard (passive - current absorbing). They are designed to work with MDP-1.A/T, MDP-1.plus or MDP-4, MDP-8, MDP-16 type alarm modules. They can also cooperate with other any control panels working in the standard of 4-20mA input lines with current emission, after using a power limiter type MDPL1.
DEX-G detectors are of explosion-proof construction: flameproof enclosure db and casing tb. They can be used in zones 1 or 2 endangered by explosion of gases or flammable vapours classified as explosiveness group IIA or IIB (for versions designated F…-B… ) or group IIA, IIB or IIC (for versions marked F…-C..), temperature classes T1, T2, T3 or T4 (for versions marked F4-…) or temperature classes T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 or T6 (for versions marked F6-…). The detectors can also be used in zones 21 or 22 endangered by an explosion of combustible dusts classified as group IIIA, IIIB or IIIC, where the maximum surface temperature is 70 °C (for versions marked F6-…) or 120 °C (for versions marked F4-…).
