Connection interface CB-ST

The CB-ST interface is designed to connect a column sounder type ST-3s with the contact outputs of control modules. It makes it possible to easily configure the parameters of the column optical/acoustic signaling device by setting switches/jumpers.

It is possible to:

• setting the illumination of 3 LED lights in continuous or flashing mode;
• switching on the built-in siren and assigning its operation to the corresponding state ALARM1, ALARM2, ALARM3 and/or EMERGENCY;
• setting the operation of the siren with a continuous or intermittent signal;
• setting the EMERGENCY condition as a flashing green light, with or without siren sound.

The interface is housed in a sealed terminal box. It is designed for installation outside gas or dust explosive areas.

Features

• 24 V DC power supply (green light confirming the presence of voltage);
• power circuit fuse 1 A (required for ST-3s/Ex control);
• a set of 4 jumpers for setting the function of flashing lights, siren switching on and pulsing, and the method of signaling the EMERGENCY status;
• a set of removable connectors for connecting the 7-core cable from the column siren and the power cable (2 wires) and connecting to the contact outputs of the control module (4 wires);
• connection of 1 pc ST-3s siren or 1 pc. ST-3s/Ex in any configuration;
• parallel connections of up to 3 ST-3s sirens with light/silence only in continuous mode;
• choke-free, sealed housing (IP44) with diaphragm vents.
